If you haven’t yet, you can read a little about me here, but if you have then keep on scrolling.
For those that don’t know me, a blog may not seem that crazy. But anyone who does already knows that I’ve never enjoyed putting myself out there. I only have about five total Facebook posts, and it’s not uncommon for me to fall into an accidental Instagram hiatus. However, when presented with the opportunity to create a blog for one of my classes I decided to be bold and dive headfirst into my biggest fears. In preparing for my impending graduation and assimilating into the real world, one of my New Years’ Resolutions for 2019 was to be bolder, braver, and allow myself to take risks. I want to be prepared to jump on new opportunities as they arise. I refuse to miss out because I was too afraid of falling to take the leap of faith into the next chapter of my life. So here I am taking my first major risk of the year, investing my time and energy into a project that could very well fail, putting myself out there for the world to see, judge, and possibly (it’s more likely than not) embarrassing myself in the process.
My main goal for this blog is to keep myself accountable to actually do everything I want to in the time I have left in Nashville and make tangible progress in checking things off my “must see” list. I am not a Nashville expert by any means. But I know my way around and I have a ridiculous number of places saved on Instagram, in notes on my phone, in the back of my journal, you get it. I plan to make this a guide to the best places in Nashville with itineraries, ideas, and maybe even a few weekend trips.
I am always open to new ideas so if there’s anything that you want to know about in Nashville, a place I need to try or something spectacular that is still under the radar, send me a comment! Like, seriously, click onto that contact us page (here) and start a conversation.
I am so excited and hopefully I can inspire some of you to visit my current favorite spots, and future places I discover along the way. Join my mailing list to get updates on my whereabouts and suggestions here. I look forward to exploring with you!
